It’s his aerogram letter from Italy to his parents after VE Day. He served for the whole war with the Royal signals attached to the 6th Armoured division being sent overseas to Tunisia and Italy where he ended up. Its amongst a bundle of letters I have inherited from him covering Tunisia and Italy along with a part journal covering the early part of his time in Italy for some reason he stopped recording entries on 7th June 1944
