Whilst doing family history research I found my Mother’s wooden box that held her important papers and documents which were taken into the shelter for safety. In here I found a few celluloid letters approx 6 inches by 3 inches and were obviously photos of a written letter from my Uncle to my Mum. I believe they were called airgraphs.
Also a Christmas card same type sent 1941 saying 1942 was in the bag with a caricature of Monty and Churchill. If only it had turned out to be true.
