This letter was sent from my Grandfather Edward (Ted) Culshaw to his son Anthony Culshaw (aged 11 at the time) in December 1945. Ted was in the Military Police, stationed in Basra, Iraq and was very much looking forward to coming home, knowing he would miss Christmas with his family despite the war having ended several months earlier.
Ted is on the far left in the photo.
